Chicken Bone Broth
Our Basic Bone Broth is made by gently roasting the bones, backs, and necks from our pasture raised chickens then simmering them with water and a touch of salt. We reduce the broth until it is highly concentrated and rich in collagen and fat. Unlike most bone broths you can buy, we do not skim off the fat. The resulting product is extraordinarily nutritious and full of flavor. Your bone broth will be gelatinous when cold and you may notice some pieces of pale yellow fat in your broth. These things are both normal and will liquify when your broth is warmed. When using your broth after refrigerating or thawing from frozen, vigorously massage the bag to mix the contents. This will allow the bone broth to come out of the spout. Alternatively, you can warm your broth in a warm water bath if you plan to use the entire bag at once. If you're not using it all at once, store it in the fridge, where it will last for a long time. Enjoy this treat for your taste buds and body!
FYI: contains 32 ounces/4 cups, which is double the amount of other bone broth brands. Depending on what you're using it for (soups, etc), you can feel free to dilute and season. For sipping and other applications we recommend using it at full strength.
